Hello to all. Who here has a ps3? i have one and love it. I'd like to start to talk about tips and tricks to use the ps3 when you are blind. So I was wondering if anyone has anythign they know? I know how ot start games and stuff like that. I can update the system with trial and error. Has anyone successfully joined chates or whatever? Thanks for all of the help.
I have a PS3, but I have some sight. My answer would depend on what you're wanting to do with it. Playing games is relatively simple, as the PS3 always starts - after you've selected your suer account) on the games tab of the nav bar. The settings menus are the second tab from the left of the nav bar. Then I believe comes pictures, music and video, followed by the one containing apps such as netflix, youtube and the like. Then you have your games tab. System update is, if I recall the very top selection on the settings tab. I've done a tiny bit of instant messaging, but if you have no vision at all, I'm not sure how you'd do that one. You could get a bluetooth keyboard for input, but to view the messages would be a problem.
